ADMINISTRATIVE
AUDIT
COMMITTEE: Audit the financial records of the congregation from the
previous year and make a recommendation concerning the records for the
congregational meeting in late January.
MEMORIAL
COMMITTEE: Approve expenditures for items needed from memorial gifts that
have been given in memory of loved ones. Meets 2-3 times a year.
FINANCE
COMMITTEE: Oversee the income and disbursements of the budget and keep
track of the overall financial health of the congregation. Meets on an as-needed
basis.
WEBSITE
MANAGEMENT: Keep our website attractive and up-to-date.
MUTUAL
MINISTRY COMMITTEE: Provide a sounding board for pastor, facilitate any areas of
concern between members of the church and staff, and recommend a budget for
church staff. Composed of 2 council members, 2 non-council members and
pastor. Meets 2-3 times a year. Term is
2 years.
NOMINATING
COMMITTEE: Develop a slate of candidates for election to church council and
other elected positions. Active from September through November. Term is 1 year.
MONEY
COUNTERS: Count the offering and other donations that have come in during
the week, after the 10:30 worship and deposit in a locked bag at the bank.
Training provided. Two people are assigned for each Sunday .
OFFICE
HELP: Answer phones when the church secretary is not in the office and
help with occasional office duties.
