Moving Past the Pandemic

On November 4th, 2021, Christ Lutheran paid off a $1,000,000 debt for the Life in Christ Center. This was quite an accomplishment for a small mission church started 70 years before and built on a backing by a mother church for $35,000.

In September 2022, Pastor Paul retired after 17 years of service to our congregation. Reverend Brian Gigee arrived to serve as interim pastor until new leadership can be secured to carry on the legacy of Christ Lutheran. A call committee began the process of searching for a new pastor.

In 2023, the church council with approval of the congregation voted to support Jaime Morales as he returns to seminary to become a Lutheran minister. Jaime presently acts as a lay minister at Christ Lutheran. Prayers and support follow Jaime and his wife, Rachel as he makes this journey.

We are back from the pandemic and growing strong!
